Costume Institute Gala

The MET was filled with famous people to receive the Costume Institute Gala. Here are the looks of the celebrities.

It’s not the first time we see Anne Hathaway in  a golden gown. Long and gold seem to be two requirements when it comes to her dresses. This one is Valentino Pre-Fall 2010

Not much thing is needed to have Bar Rafaeli at her best.

Blake Lively in Marchesa Fall 2010. Thank God for her legs, not everything is lost on this dress.

Camilla Belle was the lady in red in this Jason Wu gown.

This Miu Miu Fall 2010 dress does not look bad on Carey Mulligan, but it’s a bit too fall for a spring gala.

Chloe Sevigny in a turquoise Proenza Schouler. Two trends in one dress: lace and tranparencies…But still I don’t like the dress.

I almost didn’t believe this is a Burberry dress. There’s something about it (and about Claire Danes on in) that reminds me of medieval times – iron shields and swords.

Fur,fur,fur: Elizabeth Banks in Gucci

After being the face of the advertising campaign for Burberry, Emma Watson could only dress something from the brand. Good choice this white asymmetrical dress: appropriate for her age, simple, but lovely.

Eva Longoria disappointed in this Marchesa Spring 2010. The fabric is too heavy and embroidery reminds me of old curtains and tablecloths.

As a floral print lover, I must admit I just loved this mermaid style gown Eva Mendes is wearing. It’s Dolce, probably my favorite.

The most amazing recent mom: Gisele Bundchen in a black fringe Alexander Wang dress.

Another favourite of mine, Sarah Jessica Parker in a baby pink Halston dress. The choice of the brand is probably an influence from the “Sex and the City 2” wardobe, full of Halston clothes.

High split, like the trend says. Kate Hudson looks really good in this nude Stella McCartney dress. I just think she exaggerated the make-up.

Two satin draped gowns, two Jessica’s: Alba and Biel

Kristen Bell in Diane von Furstenberg. Loved the pattern of the dress.

What is wrong with Kristen Stewart? Not even a Chanel Couture Spring 2008 dress saved her. She definitely needs to straighten her back and raise her head!

Again, Maggie Gyllenhaal too fall in a Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 gown.

Mila Kunis in Vera Wang? Of course! Love the combination.

Amazing: Sienna Miller in Emilio Pucci Fall 2010…But who would’t look amazing with Jude Law on it’s side?:)

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad Spring 2010 Couture

Jessica Szohr was a lot better than her series colleague Blake Lively, with this Atelier Versace gown.

The devil wears Chanel: Anna Wintour.
