Anna Dello Russo is the fashion editor of Vogue Nippon.
I don’t know if you realized that, these days, it’s all about Vogue Corea, Vogue Nippon, Vogue China. It seems like something has changed. Editorials, covers: it all seems to have gain a new breath, the news are coming, trends are being dictated, those countries are making the difference when it comes to fashion. Anna has been part of that changing, not only with her work in the magazine, but also with her position in life.
Anna Dello Russo is all about fashion. Her outfits during fashion weeks are almost as important as the outfits on the catshows.
One of the things that best illustrates her style is the fact that she is not afraid to use things mostly used at night:
She somehow makes feathers, ballgowns, couture, or extreme color daytime appropriate and look as easy-to-wear as jeans and a t-shirt.
It seems to me she is the living proof that everything than can be used in a catwalk, can look great in “real life” either.
You can find her wearing Dolce & Gabbana (friends of her), especially dresses with structured and big shoulders…
…and Balmain, which she also seems to like.
But don’t be surprised if you find her wearing less-known designers, like Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra or Mary Katrantzou.
Finally, it is important to say that she has more than 4000 pairs of shoes in her closet!
