High-end/ Low-cost – Capes

Since we saw the first Fall/Winter fashion shows, we knew capes were about to be one of the top trends for the season. Actually, it became one of the must-haves and now you want to have one. But where can you buy something…affordable? And with what pieces should it be paired with?

1. Zara has the most lovely camel cape, under 100€; 2. If you’re more into Topshop, you can choose this one, also under 100€; 3. Also great, but definitely more expensive this See by Chloé quilted cape.

High-end:

Céline

Derek Lam

Low-Cost:

Khaki and beige capes, both Asos

H&M, half cape, half trench

Street style for inspiration:

Same Zara cape of the first picture paired with shorts and a knit sweater.

Some random street style pictures I googled and picked. Those girls have an amazing style.

You know it’s in vogue when Olivia Palermo wears one.

Miss Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) on Gossip Girl.
