About a year ago, it all started with a review of the Golden Globes gowns. I like traditions, so this year, I’m keeping this one.
Here are some of my favorites of last night.
Angelina Jolie chose green Versace dress and Anne Hathaway (or shall I say Miss Red Carpet) was amazing in this backless sequined Giorgio Armani Privé. She was my favorite.
The Glee girl Diana Agron looked good in her blush chiffon gown, by J.Mendel. I think it goes great with her skin tone. Emma Stone went minimalist, with her peach Calvin Klein. You can never go wrong with a dress like this.
January Jones amazed in a very red Versace gown, with fringe details, while the other Glee girl, Lea Michelle, that is becoming an icon on the red carpet, didn’t disappointed in a classic soft pink Óscar de la Renta.
Leighton Meester wore a sober Burberry dress, with a retro touch. I love it! Natalie Portman was the most glowing woman of the night in her satin Viktor & Rolf dress.
I believe the princess-like dresses will never go out of fashion and Olivia Wilde proved it. Other of my favorites, she wore a Marchesa gown . Perfect! Finally, Miss Bullock surprised with her new bangles. She looked very young and in great shape in her Jenny Packham dress.
Two little notes: sequins were present in many dresses, especially my favorites. Like Angelina Jolie, 4 other women opted for green: Catherine Zeta- Jones, Mila Kunis and Monique Lhuillier. This is a statement that once again reaffirms bold colors as a major trend for the next spring.
